How does Spam Snag work?

Spam Snag completely blocks automated junk email by the following:

1. When email arrives at your address, the address of the sender is checked. If this is the first email from this address, a customizable reply email is sent back to the sender asking them to verify themselves by just clicking on a link to the Spam Snag website.

2. The link takes the senders to our website where Spam Snag can verify the mail is not from an automated system. Although it is easy for a person to make the required response in just a few seconds, automated systems are not able to verify themselves.

3. Once a sender verifies an email address, they will not again receive this verification request and all future emails from this sender are forwarded directly to your mailbox. If necessary, you still have the option to permanently block any particular sender.
